Grant Money, for the asking!
Where can you find a completely renovated home for less than half the money spent on the entire renovation?
Currently there are two(2) homes in the Auburn NY area that have over $60,000. in grant monies available to reduce the price to a buyer to a very manageable level. For example, a 2-3 bedroom home with a $45,000 purchase price has been gone through by contractors and put in "move in" condition. New vinyl siding, new replacement windows and a new roof, rooms painted and hardwood floors refurbished.
The only catch is you have to have good credit to get a mortgage, have an income level that does not exceed guidelines and attend a class.
